Re: Cougar catches Mule Deer doe
Good post Hawk! I agree that it is a rare moment captured on camera. For those of you here in Utah did anyone happen to see the roughin it outdoors show last Sunday? There were scenes from another rare moment caught on camera. A pack of wolves in yellowstone chase a cow elk into a river. The wolves ...

Re: Our 2008 Colorado Muley buck hunt
I hadn't seen this post. I'm glad it came back to the top of the active topic list. Big time congratulations. It's pretty rare to have four of your group get four points. Way to go. Looks like it's been an incredible hunting year for you and your family. ![thumbs up :thumb](./images/smilies/023.gif)

Re: Monster Tiger Trout
If there were a Boone and Crockett club for fish that trout would rank with the 30"+ wide, 200""+ bucks. NIce! ![thumbs up :thumb](./images/smilies/023.gif)

Re: Its here
As far as what I read.. If you signed up and were inthe program you are only required to do the 8 hours that you agreed to do at the time you signed up. When your 3 years expires and you have to re-apply for the program you will then have to commit to the 40 hours.. 40 hours is a lot compared to wh...

Nice bucks. Looks like you had a good time. Thanks to everyone who posts photos. It makes the time spent here very enjoyable. I guess you know one place to go shed hunting in a couple of months. ![thumbs up :thumb](./images/smilies/023.gif)

Re: Big Mule Deer
Very nice. It reminds me of the year that they reopened the book cliffs here in Utah. There were some nice bucks taken that year. It seems that any first year opening of a hunting ground is going to give hunters a chance at some true giants. Thanks for posting.

Re: My son's New Mexico youth hunt
Wow! Way to go tracker. Very well written story at 10 years old. Also very impressive is shooting a 4 point for your first deer. Continuing with being impressed is the fact that you're shooting an .06 at ten years old, and shooting it straight. Your dad said, no fair, he was 22 before his first for ...

Re: Spot the Buck!
Unless I had a sportmans or gov tag I can't see myself ever passing on a buck that would be thirty inches and estimated to be in the 200" plus range. The 30"+ and 200"+ clubs are elite to begin with. To be inducted into both clubs with one buck makes him a shooter for sure. Ready, I hope your "ready...

Re: Its here
I agree with kinzy's dad, thanks for posting. Question about the new dedicated hunter requirement of 40 service hours. I performed 8 of the 24 required last year to get my first tag. I wonder if i'll be doing 32 hours instead of 16 this year to get my second tag. I'm not lazy, I know the extra hours...
