Hunting Full Moon
Looks like if I draw a Colorado tag this year, I'll be hunting a full moon. How to the mule deer react to the full moon? I know here in the south, whitetail deer are not active during the morning or evening during the full moon. They can eat all night during the full moon.

Best method
I'm hoping to be hunting unit 58 and 581 in colorado this oct/nov. This will be my first mule deer hunt. What would be the best, most productive method on hunting? Get high and glass, stalk, find where their feeding and sit and wait? I'll be hunting public land. Thanks, Rudy.

Re: Your Dope sheet
The apps are only good for about 300 yards or so. I use one out to about 900 yards but my data sheet is much better. Data sheets are much more like pin point accuracy.

Re: Remington Sendero
Here is a target I shot while sighting in for hunting season a few years back. Didnt have a spotter so I'd fire 2 rounds then drive to the target. It was 500 yards measured with a leupold laser range finder. Remington Sendero, 270 Win and handloads. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l298/RLB194/Rem7...

Which bullet for mule deer
Out of a 270 WSM, 110 barnes Tipped TSX or a 130 Tipped TSX?? If both shot the same groups, which do you prefer? The velocity, by the book, is 3550 for the 110 and 3230 for the 130.
