Mounted my set of sheds euro style
Bought a euro shed mount kit and mounted a 4x4 set I found. I like the way it turned out. I'm gonna have to buy more kits.

Re: Shed Findings
Yeh that spike elk above the big elk shed I found by Panaca,NV. Took a long trip over there and spent all day because I had a freind that found 26 elk sheds the previous weekend 1/2 brown and 1/2 white. That spike, unfortunately, is all I found and it had blood and hair on it like it had just been d...

Re: Shed Findings
Yeh ever since I found my first shed I can't stop going out. I just got back home after I don't know how many miles of hiking, sore, tired and thirsty only found a very old broken up small 2pt and a small 3pt deadhead (1 quick photo for proof). It's amazing how addicting this is but yet it does keep...

Re: Cow Hunt-Blue Mountain, Vernal
Hey I think I saw your honda civic as I was up there over the weekend lol. I unfortunately got stuck trying to pull my fifth wheel to Hacking Lake and blew out my 4 wheel drive. There were no elk or shots clear back on red cloud loop. Talked to a DWR officer and he said he only knew of 2 bulls taken...

Re: Any Bull Public Land
I appreciate the info on the Henries. I am just going to make the drive to Vernal. I at least have friends that hunt there so they will know where to point me to then I will hike because I know dang well that him and his Dad are kinda on the lazy side so they won't get off the 4-wheeler very often. ...

Re: first elk ever
I live in southern Utah and am traveling up to vernal for my general any bull hunt. You are lucky you are already there. Maybe if you hunt there we'll bump into eachother and can help one another out? This is actually my 2nd elk hunt but did not even see "anything" my first. I'm right there with ya....
