I listened to the Wildlife Board Meeting yesterday (and Work Session on Wednesday)... tag numbers were approved with just a couple of modifications and those numbers should be sent to the company in Nevada that performs the draw very soon.
So close yet so far away!

The number of tags haven't even been approved yet. The Wildlife Board meeting is May 1 & 2. I might start checking my CC for a hit in 2 weeks.

From what I understand is they are waiting for the winter/spring surveys before they set tag numbers. I think the tag numbers just went through the RAC process. Once they get through the WB process it only takes them a couple of weeks to get the results out. Oh, I'm aware of the process & you descr...

Got a text from my buddy in Albuquerque... said he drew his first choice deer & elk tags. Unit 34 deer (Alamogordo area I believe) & unit 4 elk (Humphries/Rio Chama WMA). I'm very happy for him... ... but that's precisely the reason why the Utah draw is SOOOO frustrating for me. NM draw closed three...

I'll be using the micro SD card with an adapter in 2 cameras this summer. Tried both out just to make sure & both work perfectly... I just had to make sure both SD cards were freshly formatted. I'm hoping to be able to use the tablet to check my cameras instead of hauling my laptop around creation. ...

I've read thru the recommendations & thought they were fair in relation to the statistics provided... plus no real changes for "my unit" and that's all that matters to most people. The biggest thing I noticed is the recommended reduction of the Plateau, Thousand Lakes general unit from 400 to 200......
