Re: CC hits
If it is my archery tag then this is the fourth year of putting in. If it is the wifes early rifle then this is her tenth year of putting in. Either way one of us is way lucky for getting this tag. You're right, that is way lucky... Congrats it will be a great hunt. Hopefully I'll be hitting you up...

Re: Inlines or drop tine buck? What is your preference? this one has both
I love droppers. I chased a buck 2 years ago that had about a 4 inch drop tine and could never get a shot.... I say chase, but really I saw him one day for about 20 seconds through some thick brush and went back every day for the rest of the hunt and never saw him again.

Re: Book Cliffs
I've got a question, why is the north side better than the south side? Because it's roaded? More deer? Bigger bucks? I'm just curious, not very familiar with that part of utah! To be honest I'm not real sure. I've never hunted the unit myself but I've got a buddy that has drawn both an archery deer...

Re: Boulder mountain archery elk hunt video
It is cool and true. To be an archery hunter and know how much time and effort it takes to harvest an animal with your bow, it really hits close to home. This is the true meaning of persistence and dedication. I also hunt the Boulders for deer on the archery hunt and I remember it raining ALL WEEK o...

Re: Book Cliffs
The way that it looks is that the hunt includes both A and C in the any weapon hunt. This means that you should be able to hunt the road less area also if you would like. The only hunts that I know of that split the road less area off into it's own hunt are for the elk hunts. This is actually inacc...

Re: Draw Odds Website
Great web site. Thanks for sharing. It's good to know that with my 14 pts for elk it's only gonna take me another 175 or so years to draw an early season San Juan tag!

Re: Binocular and Spotting Scope Use
I really hate to "spend other peoples $" but if it were me I'd get a spotting scope. Like Scott702 said, out here in the west you'll more than likely be spotting 1000 yds or farther in some instances.
