A friend hunt's it every year, He's not a horn hunter so I cann't give ya much info on that other than the drought is not helping horn development. 47 has always held good #'s of Antelope.
I believe they have a good # of doe /fawn tags so be sure to get a couple of them too.

If he's talking about Beulah wyo. it's on the state line east of Sundance (I-90). From what I saw 2 weeks ago in the Targhee NF there's plenty there. a few less couldn't hurt the hunting any.

I've carried a Marlin 1895GS in 45-70 off and on for a couple of years now and love it, I've never put a scope on it but I may start reloading for it so a new scope may show up in the near future. Of 20+ elk only a couple have been shot at over 100 yrds anyhow.
