Texas Quail #s down

Texas quail numbers are down again this year. this infernal drought is killing us with our upland birds. i think i've only saw about two quail this whole year. on the bright side all the playa lake are dry so........... the duck and goose hunting on our two panhandle lakes (whats left of them) open to waterfowl hunting will be outstanding. kinda nice when they only have one place to land per couple hundred miles.
