Does anyone know if theres anymore ducks left here?! Thanks to the below zero temperatures and lack of snow fall everything has froze up. I cant hunt the river anymore for geese, all the fields are froze and covered in hard crusty snow. All the ponds that i hunt at the start of the season are froze although thats pretty typical. And all the small sloughs and rivers that you can walk and jump shoot on are ever froze!!!! ](*,) And those few places that dont freeze... ever! Dont have a single duck landing on them ever!!! GRRRR!!! It gets so aggravating!! And i thought the opening weekend this year was the start of a great season! Oh well theres always next year :thumb

You Duck guys ought to head up here. Our waterfowl season startes in October and is just finishing up. From what I understand it's the longest in the country. There are too many areas to list, but might be fun for you all next year.

Our state also runs the 107 day season on waterfowl. For the most part it depends on when your state decides to open the season.

We have done well here in the Heber valley over the years. But with all of the building going on over the last few years it's getting tough to pick up a limit these days. Used to love to work our way up and down the river in the late season.
