I was able to retrieve my 2 cameras on snowmobile Friday... here's the best of the bunch from camera #1 (the dates are way off, I placed the camera on Oct 25th):

and camera #2. I remembered to set the dates on this camera. I can't be sure, but I think the deer in picture #2 is a buck... I think I see a glint of antler. I liked the ones taken during the storms of the snow flying and the last one of the fresh untouched powder.

Not a problem at all, I tried to tweak the dark/light settings to try and see them better myself but couldn't figure it out... thanks

I like to check all of my dark images now. Here is one that I might of missed if I didnt take the time to put it through my photo software.

This is the photo that my cam took:

If my cams take a dark image, I check them just in case.

Derek, really you need the soft ware to tweek the imiage. great photos how long did you have them out there?

You're right... I do need the software. I tried everything I could think of with the programs already on my laptop, but couldn't figure it out (but then again I wasn't too patient with it). Maybe some smart guys could help me out as far as tweaking color, hue, brightness, etc. I tried the "auto adjust" and it really messed up some of the daytime ones.
I had two cameras in those locations from October 26th until March 9th. It looks like I ran out of batteries mid January. I was actually disappointed in the quantity of pictures that I got, only about 200 per camera at a 3 shot burst so really not a whole lot of movement in that area. I have some plans for a different spot in the spring.

I use photoshop to adjust my photos but I am pretty sure you can do it in most photo editing software programs. Try to find a way to adjust the "Levels" and the "Brightness and Contrast". Thats what I do. Ill take a really dark image and adjust the brightness to bring out any light I can then adjust the levels to bring out more detail. Its a little tough without good software but possible.

I use Nero it is a great program but I hate auto fix. Nero shows levels of action for the function to take. I tweek them till I get what I like. really it just take time to figure what each program is doing.
