Just barely picked up a new pair of Vortex 10x42 Diamondbacks today and I must say for the money I believe they can't be beat!! This quality of glass in the $200 range WOW!!! I was in a rush to get them after I got water in the lenses of my Nikons.. But I sent the Nikons off to get repaired and needed a pair of binos to still go out with.. Well I must say I think the Nikons are going up for sale when they return.. Vortex has impressed me.. I was wondering about their spotting scopes? Anyone have opinions on them.?

If you were impressed with the Diamondbacks, you will love the Nomad or skyline. I think the optical quality is a step up in the spotting scopes and a great value.

I picked up a Skyline for my bison hunt and have been very impressed with it. Was looking over some area that were over a mile away and I could see the bigger branches on the tree from that far. Worth every pennie if you ask me.
