i would take a look at the vortex line before buying anything!!

I know its been said 100 times, but vortex makes quality optics for the money and their warrenty cannot be beat!!!

LEUPOLD!!!!!!!!! they do have the best warrenty - bar none- and have been around forever [ i accualy believe i read somewhere in a book,if i remember right, that noah had a leupold spotting scope when he was looking for the animals to put in his boat] :)) but really you can pick up there 3-9x40 for $199 bucks anywher- i would upgrade that to their 50mm objective you can get for $250. if it breaks go ahead and tell them you ran over it with you car, it don't matter you'll recieve a brand new one in the mail in just a matter of days :thumb

Vortex is really good for the price.

They shock their scopes by mounting it on a heavy pipe (to simulate a rifle), then swing a heavy hammer against the end of the pipe to simulate recoil. Each hit is 100G's. They do this over 50 times.

Price wise, their 3-9x40 Viper Scope has an MSRP of $409.00, which I sell for $339.99 (Includes free shipping). The 3-9x40 Diamondback has an MSRP of $259.00 and I sell it for $189.99.

Both come with a full lifetime transferable warranty, and I offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

Have fun this year.

I'm with Killerbee on this one. Leupold sells some quality glass. Trust me, even if it's a little more than you want to spend, it won't be wasted money.

I have really come to like my Ziess Conquest scopes and there 3x9x40 is very reasonable. If you look at nikon look at the Monarch line.

I'd just throw some scope you have laying around the house on your rifle. Like that Burris or Leupold or even the Zeiss that is mounted on your brother's Rem 700 ADL.

WAIT!!! Those are mine!!! Buy your own and leave mine alone! :))
