SCI #2 buck from 2005, 221 3/8"
Once again I'm just posting pictures from an E-mail I received. Hope nobody cares. I don't know anything about this deer other than the email caption saying it was taken this year in Mexico. It is huge. It looks alot like the burris buck but to me the anlters seem heavier. Get ready to drool.

Re: Pending new world record desert muley from Mexico
Don't mean to burst the bubble.
This buck was actually taken about 3 years ago.![smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Can't remember all the stats, but a remarkable buck...certainly worth looking at again.![thumbs up :thumb](./images/smilies/023.gif)

To start, I NEVER get tired of lookin' at bucks like this one! Keep em comin'!
However, Brett is right. I believe it was taken in 2005 and although it scored pretty high, it did not beat the Burris buck.
I'll see if I can dig up the info on him for ya.
AWESOME BUCK THOUGHT!![ten 10sign:](./images/smilies/smiley_10sign.gif)

Yup, never get tired of seeing the Gisi buck........it is an awesome buck.....but quite a ways from the B&C world record. It's official B&C score was 206 3/8".
It may be the SCI record though....different scoring system though.

Thanks guys. I'll send an email back to those that sent it to me with the update. Still one awesome typical frame.

Ya beat me to it Roy! Thanks man, I was TRYING like mad to remember his name but could not.
It was accepted just accepted into B and C during thier 26th awards period. There is a nice pic of it in there too.

He's SCI's runner up buck (desert, typical) at 221 3/8. Not a WR in any scoring system, but sure is one heck of a buck!

So is there a way to delete this thread or change the title to something like SCI #2 buck from 2005, 221 3/8". When I sent it out it seemed believable enough. I'll try to refrain in the future.MuleyMadness wrote:Don't mean to burst the bubble.

Although it really wasn't necessary I went ahead and changed it for ya.
No worries bud....we all get fooled now and again. Every year there are certain bucks and/or stories that make the rounds on the various online hunting forums.
I think I can say with a fair amount of certainty that this won't be the last time...LOL

Thanks AGC
I'll try a little research next time before I post. As far as the getting fooled part it is a buck that looks believable. And it's fun to think that there is a buck out there that could beat the burris buck. This time around I scrutinized the pics and they didn't seem to be Photo shopped like one of my other posts may have been. Guess I need to get a B&C awards book as a research tool.
Thanks again.
