A big surviving buck near Vernal

Post by NotEnufTags » Tue Dec 09, 2008 7:40 pm

I'm not trying to take credit for these pics. They were in an e-mail my brother sent to me. I don't know who took them but the email said they were taken after the rifle season near Vernal, Ut.

This buck is amazing. I'd have a hard time shooting straight if I saw this one. Just thought that everybody here needs the chance to see it. Incidently, let's hear your guesses on score. Definitely in the plus 200" club.

I'm not a score kind of guy. All I can say is good he$$. I cant even imagine seeing him in the crosshairs.
when the crow dips, you have luck sometimes maybe.

I'm telling you, these guys are smart. They know when the hunt is, and as soon as its over they come out of hiding to taunt us. He's huge!

It's definatly a sweet buck for sure, i've seen it in other posts as well and some people said that the picture was taken up in the Vernal area and then others said it was but was massivly photoshoped but none the less its a sweet buck.

Hey ShedPred, I guess I may be too gullable. I hadn't even questioned if it was real or not. I took a close look at the photos and now I wonder. Especially when you look at the right antler on the photo where the buck is turning his head. It doesn't look like the antler base matches where it goes behind the ear.

If its not a real buck it's still nice to dream, and someone has an awesome set of sheds. Thanks for pointing out the need to be a little skeptical.
