California A6 archery tag

hey everyboday my name is graham and i am new on the site i got drawn for the a6 archery tag in the northeastern ca. which takes place in zone x3b. i have been up there once to mt. bidwell and saw some good bucks. i was just wondering if anyboday on here has hunted up there or could give me some insight on some good places to start my search for my first muley. thanks everybody.

Hunt the South Warner wilderness area.that way you are away from any road hunters.Try to get in the high country that is problay where you will find them.I put in for that Unit but didn't draw it congrats!Look over the area on google earth and call the local DFG biologist.The forest service trail maintenance guys are full of info just don't flat out ask them hey where's the big buck at.Good luck let me know if i can help.
