What kind of hunting rig you drive?

Post by wingmaster36 » Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:48 pm

I drive a 2000 Jeep XJ Cherokee. I'm getting ready to do some mods to the cooling system such as an all metal 3 row radiator. Suspension, engine performance, and cosmetic to follow as funds become available.

91 F250 diesel 4x4 when I gotta get back in woods, but mostly my little 2wd Chevy Colorado gets me to my hunting ground and back.

2000 Chevy Blazer ZR2 of which I've posted a few pics over the years on here. Best mod by far is the 8000 lb winch up front. Sure makes getting the elk up in the air for skinning much easier!
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

sazuki samauri( sp??)
locked up front and back,
hard top,
40+ mpg,
lifted, running 31's
rock crawler transfer case( the lowesr gears ever)

best rig ever IMO, it's never been stuck( and believe me, there has been a few drunken nights trying to proof different.)

i can drive all day long, come back to town, 5 gallons MAX!
might not be as cool as a bronco, or maybe a jeep, bur will out do them 99% of the time ,
AND GET WAY BETTER GAS MILLEAGE!!!!

Toyota tundra with off road bumpers, rhino lined head to tail, with toyo tires. Love that little truck! Goes everywhere, reliable, 21 mpg.
