I see alot of people voting for Toyota Tacomas. They're cute if...ya know...you're into "cute trucks." Fortunately, I'm not so I'll go with a Chevy Silverado with a Duramax. Can't beat it.

'Bout time you came around!zatarain6 wrote:used to drive fords but now there are two chevys parked in the driveway .
Let's see, of all the vehicles I've bought from a dealer new, and there's been a few, the only ones I still own are all Chevys. Still own the '90 C1500 with close to 300K on the odometer. Absolutely love my Blazer ZR2 for offroad and hunting. Hard to beat my wife's Camaro SS, unless it's a Vette. As for an economy car, an '06 Monte Carlo getting 31 MPG.
So guess I'll have to vote Chevy/GMC all the way! I'll be looking to get a 2500HD 4X4 with the Duramax sometime later in the year. I won't even look at the others, there's no reason to.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

Re: Chevy, Ford, Dodge, or Toyota
Okay here you go:
Chevy S10 Series
Chevy S10 are durable hard working truck, I have one myself. They travel the mountains easily on trails I would normally only take a 4Wheeler or Jeep on. The only disadvantage to these trucks are for a good ride they made the front end be durable and it moves in order to try to even the truck(Blazer) out if you hit a rock or are on a slant this wears out the ball joints after about 140,000-150,000 miles but the truck lasts for over 200,000 easy. Ford Ranger, Toyota, and Dodge Dakota don't compare.
Chevy Silverado
The Chevy Silverado (GMC Sierra) is the best truck out there flat out. They last longer, less problems(if any), and there just tough to the bone. There is no truck that compares.

"Built Ford Tough"--well that's just not tough enough.
