Cody was with me for most of the scoutin! We were late on opening morning due to his hunters ed shooting test, but it was well worth it! he is 8 years old!

here is the goat, 90 yard shot, 14" horns 6.5" bases and he's over 5.5" above the prong!!! He's got some trash on both sides and even the fourth quarters are over 4"!! He ends up at about 78 green, not too bad with a muzzleloader!

Great job chet. It looks like the scouting paid off well. I would like to see some more close ups of the trash on the horns if you get some more pics.

thanks guys!

He is NOT the heavy buck, almost as heavy and two inches longer with some "character" to him.
I passed the heavy buck, figured I could find him later if I needed to.
I was in pursuit of "prongs" I have some pics of him I'll throw in later. I had a shot at 160 yards and I missed. Then found this goat!!!!

The stalk was short and quick and the game was over!

I'll figure out the macro settings tonight and post some "trashy" pictures in the morning.
