A Few Elk Photos From the Trail Cam and Harvest
A coworker of mine got these off his trail cam and said I could post them.
A good general season anybull
A bear
A funky 4x2 with a dropper
He ended up taking a 4x4 bull in the velvet at twenty yards from where his trail cam was set up. The cool part is that the elk ran towards his four wheeler after being shot. It expired less than .2 miles from his four wheeler. He made a cool graph of the photos and times there were animals going passed his cam. For the two weeks before the hunt there was at least one elk pic every hour of each day. He only saw one other hunter during the trip. Sounds like he has a great spot when you can get an over the counter tag for $45 and have that many elk nearby. Now to get him to take me.
Here's his elk.

It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

That part about runnin to the four wheeler has to be made up. Mine always run towards the deepest darkest canyon. Must be livin right!
