Thats a way nice bull! Congrats! Sounds like a heck of a hunt and some awesome memories. And in regards to it being a trophy bull, I would defintely think it was no matter what anyone said. A true trophy is what the hunter thinks and not what the actual score of it is. The buck I got this year wasn't the biggest buck ever but it is a true trophy for me. So don't let anyone tell you different. Again, congrats on a awesome bull! :thumb

Nice work. Where did your other two shots end up hitting?

After the bull had turn to bugle at us he turned and started to run towards his cows. My first shot hit him a little back behind the boiler room. It stopped him in his tracks. After waiting for 3-4 more cows to run past in front of him the second shot went through the lungs. He staggered for a sec but then regained composure and steadied. Thats when the third shot hit the heart and he went down hard.

Congrats on a good bull and a great story. I would have done the same thing. I'd rather have a bull hanging in camp than one you are not sure you will ever see again.
