Mt. Dutton Late Bull

Post by 1shot » Sat Dec 04, 2010 8:04 pm

I took this bull on opening morning of the Mt. Dutton Late Hunt. We located him a couple of days before the hunt started. He scores 357 broken, then has 10-12 inches missing on four different tines. I spent the entire week before the hunt looking around down on the Dutton and was able to look over about 60 bulls. This bull was the biggest bull I found while scouting and with a little luck was able to seal the deal opening morning. He has a little bit of character also, one of the G1's is missing a couple of inches and still measures 19.5 inches. With all the talk about how some of the elk hunts went in Utah this year, I feel fortunate to come away with a bull like I did.

Great bruiser of a bull 10sign:

Congrats, love the character of the broken tines. It looks like all your hard work paid off handsomely. 10sign:

Very nice Dutton bull, well done!
