Bloated Elk - Alfalfa

Post by MuleyMadness » Wed Apr 11, 2007 7:12 pm

One of my students from school (7th grader) brought me in this picture of a nice bull that died in their field last year. Kinda sucks. I knew a cow couldn't last, but didn't know Elk were in danger of the same fate.

You guys/gals ever seen or heard of this?

This was a great bull, with great mass and give him a year or 2 more he would have been awesome.

To much Alfalfa did him in, Fish & Game check him out and guess it was all stuck in his throat etc. also. :>/

I'll have to get the girls Fathers name that brought me the picture, forgot to ask.
