Idaho unit 61 help!

hey hoping some one can help a guy out, i'm up here in island park Id. late elk hunt, havn't been able to lacate any elk none!, moose yes elk no? got a foot and half of snow, not sure if the elk moved out already or what i got two days left before i gotta go home.

any tips on a migration route. thanks

I hunted up there last year and what I found is just what you are finding, nothing but snow and moose. If your over by the Yale Kilgore road I would drive out by the Sheridan ranch they migrate through there to the dessert. Other than that good luck.

take your fishing pole instead great trout fishery right there. good luck with the elk though.

well the biologist was full of crap, he said lots of elk near henry's lake, 4 days and I've glassed allot, not even a cow, haven't even cut a fresh track, I'm 50 and can't walk this deep crusty snow no more, I'm shot...
