If I may, can I ask what unit you're hunting in? I'm in area 21 this season. A lot less action than you're getting right now, but I'm tryin'.

The situation is you aren’t going to kill a big buck unless there’s a big buck where your huntin!!!

Congrats Mark Jones. Some of the fondest memories I have are of me and my brothers hunting with Dad! Good luck on the rest of the hunt.

My buddy and I had some good stocks on some big deer up on Intependance mountain, as you had recommended, but couldn't get close enough unfortunately.

Look forward to seeing some pictures of the monster you stick.

Went back up and hunted yesterday. I managed to get within 300 yards of "The One" but that's as close as he wanted to be to me! At least now I have a better understanding of his backyard and his escape route.

I've got another chance next week and I'm going back Thursday thru Monday.

There's a reason he stays at 11,000'. Nobody bothers him up there. Except me...
