Here is my 08 muley I shot him the day before the last day you could shoot a buck! I passed many decent deer waiting for the big one. The big one got away I was standing by a tree when I heard a big crashing sound when I looked over I couldnt believe what i was seeing it all happened so fast I didnt even have time to ready my release , the buck which was about a 28 inch wide and just as tall with awesome mass and the biggest body id ever seen and two cheaters on one side walked within 10 feet of me all I could do was stare because the tree I was standing next to was in the way, the deer looked into my eyes and I knew it was over he took off so fast plowing through the brush breaking and tearing down branches in the way, from know on ill keep my release ready!!

Nice buck! You've got some good eating there! There will be more that got away. Those experiences are priceless too!

Nice. I wish they would let hunt that long down here on the southern end of the state, oh well. He'll be good eating, and the big one will only get bigger.
