Thats a great tag Cvrn. Good luck and keep us posted how it is going on your hunt. How many points did you and your son have to draw the San Juan tag.

I got a hit on the card for my wife and dad to hunt antelope on the Plateau this September, in addition to the general season archery deer permits. I guess my elk will have to wait...........15pts and counting!

CWP-

What elk hunt are you putting in for? A rifle hunt for sure, right?

I got hit for $35, which means my son will be hunting archery deer again this year. I'm Deidcated deer, so I have 8 more hours to put in before I get my second permit. I decided just to do archery elk so I didn't apply for anything other than bull moose. And that didn't happen. lol

CWP- That is a ton of points. I just drew out, I presume for Elk down in the La Sals with 7 points. To me it makes it worth it to hunt with a bow if it takes half the time. Plus archery is freaking awesome!!!

Hurrimuley- Congrats! I have had a hard time thinking about anything else... Find myself rubbing my head against trees, wallowing in the mud, and pissing all over myself... It's freaking out my wife!

lol
