Where does everyone buy their equipment?
Re: Where does everyone buy their equipment?
Have you dealt with Pacific Archery here in Las Vegas? He sure seems to be a peach of a guy. I'm going to buy my next bow from him.

He even has an online store. I've heard nothing but good things about him.

If you want to shop somewhere local where you can feel and test out the equipment I would recommend Silver State Archery. Great guys there and always willing to give advice, tips and swap stories (when they are not slammed). Boomer is the guy to talk to. He's a precision archer and successful hunter. I just bought the new Hyot Alphamax from him. Price was very reasonable compared to your big sporting goods stores. They are located in Henderson so should be pretty close to you. Oh, they have a nice range there and weekly shoots

Pacific Archery on Schiff Drive are good peoples too. Dan runs the place and Charles, who works there, is ranked in the top 5 best archers in Nevada. I found a few of there items a little steep in price so you might want to compare before buying. Still, great people and shop so you won't go wrong buying from them either.

Re: Where does everyone buy their equipment?
What is the number and address for Silver State? I'd be glad to check them out. You're right, Dan does seem to like his stuff. I guess he doesn't know that there is a Bass Pro in town I can be loyal to a place and don't mind paying a LITTLE bit more, but I don't like walking out thinking I needed a bottle of KY Jelly. Does Silver state have a web address?

Lightning Archery in Hurricane, Utah
- Mike Hershey is one of the owners, and when it comes to archery hunting he is one of the best. Last year he killed a 204 " mule deer on public land in Utah!
