The one that got away!

Post by fatrooster » Tue Sep 22, 2009 12:51 am

During my Nevada August archery hunt I saw lots of bucks in the 24"-25" range but never could find anything bigger this year. I hunted hard looking for a Gargantuan buck but later tried to settle on several bucks of this caliber. Unfortunately they had other plans and left me eating tag soup for 2009. Here are some pics of a couple of those bucks. fatrooster.

looks like you know the right area to be in anyway! and besides- if you killed a big ol' buck EVERY YEAR, how much fun would that be?? lol

That's too bad but if it were easy they would call it "shopping" instead of "hunting." Looks like a great hunt anyway and some really nice bucks too.

There's always next year my friend. Thanks for sharing the pics.

well least you got some good ones to chase. sorry bout not connectin but like said before if you got one everyyear or time it would be called "killin" not "Huntin"
Hunt til there is nothing to hunt, then go farther and hunt harder the big one will turn up
