Idaho archery Permit??

It says you have to take a class if you or get a bow id. I have tried hunting with a recurve in utah but didn't harvest, and I will be bow hunting this August in Utah. I'm just confused about do I need to get one or what? I haven't bought an Archery tag I'm under the age so I just but rifle. But also hunted with the recurve. Not harvesting anything.

I have bow hunted Idaho, I believe you just pay a fee and sign the a waiver that you have bow hunted in another state. I live in Calif. and have bow hunted here for years without any class. I think they just want you to fill out that you have bow hunted before.it was a few years go when I did this but had no problems getting the permit. Hope this helps
