New Archer in the family!

My new archer.

With his Bear Archery 1ST Shot Recurve he won selling popcorn for the Cub Scouts. He had allot of fun shooting it and I'm hoping he's hooked for life! :thumb We have a lot of work to do on his form though. :))

Got my first bow 41 yrs ago, it was a bear fiberglass 15#. Didn't EARN it though, tell em great job on the sales , and welcome to the brotherhood. Exspect to see the achery merit badge( if the cubs still let u earn em) this time next year. :thumb

Looks like a very determined young man. :thumb I'll look forward to seeing his smiling face posted here with some dead critters in a few years.

My 6 year girl has the same bow but she can't pull it back very far yet lol

My 6 and 8 year old had their little bear compounds out over the weekend. It's fun to hear them ask "how old so we have to be to hunt?"

Looks like you have a hunting partner for life!! I been hunting archery with my dad for 20 years and now I am teaching my 8 year old as well. Enjoy every minute of it!! Congads to him!!

He comes running in the house now every time he hits the bulls eye and I have to go out and see. Great to see that enthusiasm. :) Now I just have to make sure he doesn't lose it.
