Any general season buck hunting near Springville, UT

Post by PhillyB » Thu Sep 03, 2009 7:50 pm

l am spending the last weekend of the hunt at my wife's family reunion in Springville, more so Hobble Creek Canyon. l was bummed that l wouldnt get another opportunity to hunt since my hunt was cut short. But l got to thinking about it and was wondering if l should take my bow? :-k

Is there any where to hunt in the area? l am just looking to fill my tag if possible.
l am unfamiliar with the area, in fact l have never been there.
Any information would be great. Thanks

I would say bring it. If your heading up hobble creek, the main canyon is mainly private property, but if you just keep driving on the main road it will turn into a dirt road, keep going till you get out of the privat stuff (pretty much the top of the canyon) and you will be able to hunt all over the place, just find a nice place to pull of the road and find your self a ridge or canyon to walk. There are plent of deer up Hobble Creek. Good luck.

:thumb Nice... exactly what l wanted to hear!
l was bummed that this weekend would be lost at the reunion, but now it has taken on a new meaning.
We are staying at Jollys Ranch Campground... which appears to be the main road. Anyways, l will find something. Appreciate the heads up.

l wish it were that easy... however my wife knows the truth. :))

Unfortunately they have been doing this on Labor Day weekend for almost 25 years, so l really cant change things.
