ID 48 or 49?

My dad just spent 4 days over at a buddies cabin in Ketchum. He said the country over there was awesome. I know it's on the border of 48 and 49, but he was actually in unit 49 so I was wondering if 48 and 49 were draw only for non-res. deer. I have the 03' regs, but they're still kinda greek to me. Anyone know off hand?

Hey muleyslyr, the general rifle season for those two areas are Oct5-Oct24. Controlled hunts Are Nov10-Nov24 the only problem is you want to hunt those areas in a controlled hunt thiers only 10 tags per unit and when thier are ten tags only one of those will go to a nonresident thats what the regs say.So you only had a shot at two tags but you will have to wait for next year becuase the drawings are over.You can find all of this at the Idaho fish and game web site. Thanks....must be more of a rut hunt huh?? Are the deer just not there yet during the general season or are they just still up high? Sounds like tough odds on drawing either way.

Im really not sure iDont know the area but it would be hard to draw.
