frog's hunting

Post by Bowedark » Mon Apr 10, 2006 2:58 pm

Frog season open this weekend in my home state.

Do any u all go after them?

The frogs usually will be about six to eight inches off from the bank. If you walk around a pond & spook them the in water they will usually come back to the same spot, mark those spots. The second time around you will usually find frogs their.

I know this big game forum but I thought I would share this information.

frogs around here aren't big enough to make it worthwhile, but I hear that they are good eating.

Toss them a fly on a fly rod. Works great!
