Rocky Mountain Bighorns are high on the list, but those darn Desert Rams give me an itchy triger finger every time I see them. I've put in for one of the three avaliable tags for the last five years. It's strictly luck of the draw, no accumulating points to get one.

I have yet to hunt those Sheep, BH or Desert. I'm hoping one of these years they'll draw my number. I started my daughter applying this year and my bride is trying as well.

Goose Jr., What part of Colorado & Wyoming will you be hunting, what species, if you hit on your tag?

I did it, after many days of back in forth, I put in for NM Ibex. They only issue 15 tags, so my odds are low.
What a beautiful animal.

The southern part of 214 is almost all private and the elk have been conditioned to migrate to the private as soon as any pressure hits the public. Those old cows, control the herds and generationally have done this.

I'll put in for elk and muley hunts for my own state and will also put in for a muley hunt for Oregon, where I have eight points.
