I was just curious if anyone knew if the elk were shedding in utah yet

Cant say from visuals, but im pretty sure they have all started to drop by now....

I wouldnt say that they are just starting to drop. Lots of bulls still have thier horns, im going out tommarow to pick some up

From what I have been able to tell, 90% are still packing. However its gonna be getting good soon

I just spent three days on the hill and only saw one pair of browns picked up and most still packing. Another week and things will pick up.

I've seen some that have dropped and some that are still packing. I have video from last week of a few bulls knocking each other around. Guessing that means their horns are still solid. I'd say grab the binos, and watch them every chance you can. Shouldn't be long. But then again, last year a lot of elk around here went until mid April.

im hoping real soon i took 10 days off work starting today and it will be a drag if i find out they are still packing. i guess if i find out they are its back to work i go
