Best -ATL- of the year

Post by heshen » Wed Apr 22, 2009 6:12 pm

So here is a pic of the best ATL of the year for myself. I found this shed about a month ago when Brett and I went out. From the angle I first saw it, all I could see was the burr. I had to do a "double-take" cuz I usually dont look for burrs in trees.. haha

It is also the weirdest horn Ive ever picked up.

Post your best ATL or weird sheds and lets see what everyone has picked up..

Kinda looks like a giant can opener or one mean self defense weapon. :thumb

I love the weird sheds. Great find and great ATL.

Yah Brett, we do need to go out again!! Hopefully my ankle will get better soon so we can go.. Its been killing me not being able to get in the mountains the last 3 weeks..

But here are some ATL pics of that 4 point that we each found a side of.. You need to post the pics of you holding them up.. Its a nice buck.. No monster but respectable..

This is the view I had when I spotted it..

Here it is when I walked up to it..

Here are the finds for the day.. Not Great, But not too bad for a few hours

This is also the ATL from the biggest antler I found this year, if the other side is just as big it would be around 190"

Get that ankle better! :thumb

Nice pics, glad you posted the rest up. I don't have the one of me holding them up, you took that didn't you? Post it up if you want.

I do have one of you holding the set though, you okay if I post that one up?

Brett
