Re: What Broadhead do you like?
I like Muzzys and Wasps, not from experience, because I''m new to bow hunting, but from recommendations from folks who have been at it a while. This will sound dumb, but the Wasps look really cool. The guy who said Muzzys are the best is a guy I've talked to for quite a while now. He said something about how they will go through a 55 gal steel barrel.
I just found out a guy in my 'hood says he likes Wacums too. He shoots comp and is sombody I would like to get some pointers from.
BTW, Bowtech43, I see you're in Lehi. I live down on the south end of town around Center St and 19th south.
Happy huntin'

Re: What Broadhead do you like?
I have shot the Thunderheads for a long time, and have been fairly happy with them. I recently decided to switch to a cut-on-contact one piece broadhead, and chose the Montec G5. I have shot 6 big game animals with them so far, and have had complete pass-throughs on all but one, which I hit in the spine so that's understandable. They fly well, but not to the same point as my field points, but neither did the Thunderheads.

This year I'm shooting Tight Point Shuttle T-Lock 100gr heads...So far so good, things are built like a tank and spin better than most of the heads I've shot over the years.

Re: What Broadhead do you like?
Thanks for all the replies, I'm stoked to start hunting. I haven't shot anything with a bow yet so I guess I'll give these Snuffer SS broadheads a try since I spent the money and see what happens. I may end up with Wac'ems or another one of your suggestions. Thank you all.
Nuttinbutchunks, I live off of 1500 North just west of the tracks. Where abouts are you planning on hunting? I'm going to hit up the Wasatch Front and then down to the southeast area near Moab. Only less than 3 weeks till opening day, can't wait!!!

I like the Strikers...they are similar to the Wac Em's but in my opinion sharper and machined better. One added bonus, they fly great!

rage 2 or 3 blade doesn't matter for me they are both devastating... also, depends what state your going to be hunting as well as far as cutting diameter goes... it would be nice to have some uniformity out there though thats for sure

I love Rocket Steelheads in 3 blade 100 gr.
I believe they penetrate harder and better than any other head.
my .02 worth.

I shoot the Grim Reapers. I love them!! If I want to shoot fixed blade, I shoot nitrons. They fly just like my field tips, no adjusting the sights at all with either one of these broadheads.
