Re: 300 savage whats it worth?

I have that exact gun. It was my grandpa's. It has never had a scope on it. I wouldn't sell that gun for anything. Way too much history. My grandpa traded a horse for it back in the day. He is the first and the last to ever shoot it. I take it out once a year and clean it. I've shared it with my kid...

Re: CONGRATS DEADI

Cograts again Jared! I sure hope you plan on using and abusing me this fall. I'm ready and willing as usual. I know just the place to whack one of those critters. Call me sometime and I can show you some of the critters we videoed that made it through the season last year.

Re: Sometimes you just gotta ditch class!!!

That bull looks really familiar. I think I may have last years sheds of that bull, if not, it's a close relative. He'll go 370+. The only think I think that hurts him is the length of his main beam. He's a shooter either way you look at it.

Re: Hunting Expo pics

9er - It's my mother in laws spotting scope and she is so wishy washy about selling it. I told her that I could have sold it 10 times by now but one day she wants to sell it and the next day she doesn't. I'm washing my hands of it. I can get you a good deal on one when you are ready. Just let me kno...

DeadI and 9er - thanks for stopping by the booth! Good to meet you 9er and good to see you and your dad again Jared. The video should be out by the end of the month if everything goes right. I will let you know and you can preview it before we send it off to be duplicated.

Re: Wyoming Elk Hunt for Wife

Chris, Both of the the bulls my buddies killed were archery kills. They had a lot of opportunity on other bulls with many blown stalks and close calls. They both say it was one of the funnest archery hunts they have done. Exactly the reason I am building points. They both went into the hunt with the...

Re: UTAH TURKEY

I finally get to bang away at a Utah gobbler. I'm going to Kansas again this year to hunt them and then my Utah hunt starts the day after I get back. This could be a 3 gobbler year for me if things go well.

Jared,
You guys are nuts!!! The first snap, crackle or pop I heard would have me changing my britches. Me and ice don't get along.

I'll second Hiker on that one. Definately the units with the most public land access. I know several guys that have hunted 30 & 31 before with the smallest bull being about 320ish and the biggest in the 340 range.
