When you're glassing, usually you'll spot the muleys by picking out a tip of a horn or a twitch of an ear. They blend in so well in so many environments, they can be almost invisible. Most importantly, don't expect them to stand up and show themselves, no matter how close you are. Some bucks you alm...

Tag prices are getting outrageous. As far as guides and outfitters go, aside from costing too much, I'd rather do it myself. Guides might get you the big bucks, but there's no better feeling than finding a buck for yourself on private land, and it's the only way to get better.

I see a lot of .270s on here. I shoot a .280, myself, and couldn't be happier. It has enough power to take down anything up to an elk, and all in all is just a sweet gun. Just a hair more pop than the .270. I wouldn't trade it in for anything. Got a Leupold Vari-X III scope, works great.

Well, he's got me pegged. If he's layin down, I'm waitin for about a second til he stands up and then I'm gonna sit him back down. If he's standing, I'd wait and hit him as he goes up the hill. No sense missing or wounding a bruiser like that!

Shooting sticks, hands down. A bipod will change how your gun shoots because it adds significant weight to your barrel. Also, you don't always want the bipod on your rifle. I've used shooting sticks for several years now, and I wouldn't trade em for any other system. They're light, they compact, the...

Nice lookin buck, but he'll only score about 160ish this year. His spread is 24 inches at the most and his front forks are way to small for him to score great. Give him some better mass and some great big front forks and, even with his width, he could go closer to 180.

I think it's sad that, at 19, I've killed more antelope than the amount of questions I got right. 3 out of 11? Gonna have to work on that
