wyomingtrophyhunter, Things are well in the Jackson's Hole, at least I can't complain at the moment. Hunting season starts for me next weekend with the antelope hunt and then deer for my roommate the next weekend. I will not be hunting deer for myself until the 15th of October but have plenty of oth...

Muleymadness,
Great photos, that deer would be one to keep your eye on, even if just to see what he looks like when and if he looses the velvet, or whatever that is on his horns. I would be interested to see if he remains like that or looses it.

BOHNTR, Thanks for the reply, I think that your style of hunting and my style of hunting are one in the same. I use to hate the wheelers, becauae one of my favorite areas had been destroyed by the 4-wheelers. There were really no laws for or against them but these people turned a once excellent mule...

BOHNTR, Wanted to ask you and some of the regulars around here what there attitudes or feelings are involving four-wheelers! We are definetly chomping at the bit for a chance to take a good bull. My buddy has yet to take a bull elk, however has been hunting for many years, and so this year I just know will be the year for him. Actually to tell you the truth I would rather just tag along for the hunt, as I have always enjo...

The need for a back up rifle has never been an issue, but I sure would feel alot better if I did carry a back-up. Last season I bought another brand new rifle (.7mm Remingtom Ultra Mag) and still had my old trusty .300 WIN MAG but because of financial standing I had to sell it. So once again I am wi...

BOHNTR!!!!!

Just thought I would drop you a line and update you on my hunting season plans. Found out a couple weeks ago that a buddy of mine drew, according to the Montana Fish and Game statistically the hardest tag to draw in the state, a any elk tag on unit 410 in the Elkhorn Mtns. of Montana. So now I had t...

Personally I feel bad for the ranchers and only the ranchers! Wolves have existed in many other places and gotten along just fine, as well as all the other "easy prey" that they might seek for food. It is just another animal and who is too say or make the decision on whether we allow them to continu...
