In my opinion the measure of success you have when you do it yourself on public land is far greater without a guides assistance.

It's a complex argument with a lot of variables.

Whats the deal with these tags? I havent ever heard of them. Do the tag holders get special access to restricted property or game refuges or something?

An amazing display of power. It's really awesome to think about what those horns are really for.

I hiked just southeast of Bowman mtn. The guide said it could hold deer early to mid season.

I just gotta keep plugging away.

Glad you saw more deer. Congratulations to your brother!

Hopefully a trophy opportunity will present itself. You appear to be a hard working and successful hunter. Do you...

Do you have to sacrifice your point for a G3 tag? I've heard good things about the G zones, but I've been saving points for an X zone.

Not a bad number at all. Did you spend 2 full days out? What elevation were you at? I'll be hitting D3 (a new area for me) this coming weekend. I hope there aren't a lot of hunters around. It's a 3 mile hike from the closest road. It's always nice to hunt away from the road hunters. I'm having a har...
