I hunted muleys south and east of Craig, near Oak Creek for many, many years. Same type of terrain as you are talking about. Heed the advice given by the other guys: 1. Get the best glass you can afford....binocs, spotter, and rifle scope. 2. Sit still and use the glass until you think you will go b...

The Brunton Eternas have two position eyepieces that do not require a rubber side shield. It is hard to describe but they work great with and without glasses (I wear glasses on and off so it works for me, anyway). The Brunton line is generally not carried by your local dealer, at least in my experie...

Heck, shedhunter, we can't even spell Swarovski here in Arkinsaw, much less find 'em in the stores ! Seriously, for the money, most of the Brunton optics line is about as good as you can do...within that price range. No doubt the $2000 Leicas are great. I can, however, suffer a little eye strain for...

Lots of folks in Wyoming are dedicated Brunton fans. We don't have much use for binocs here in Arkinsaw because of the woods and thickets we hunt in. Anyone going out west, however, better have some good, high-powered glass. I learned that the hard way years ago when I tried to use some little Tasco...

Muleyman: Hey, those Brunton Eternas are the stuff. We all bought the 12x variety last year at the factory in Riverton. I had a slight problem (my fault) with mine this year and on our way thru Riverton to the "honey hole" by Thermop, I stopped in and they gave me a brand new pair....no questions as...

So far no luck but I ain't been trying very hard. Weather is cold (20's) and business is good. No complaints here..... Hope eve...

Thanks, Brett, for your proactive approach to this problem. I probably shouldn't have even responded to some of the terse comments left on the pictures that I have an interest in......I let my better judgement get overcome by my ego. I hope none of my retorts offended anyone; if so, I apologize to a...

WYMULEYMAN, Yep, I'm still out here trying to wedge work in between whitetail hunts here in beautiful downtown Arkinsaw. No luck on the local deer but I ain't huntin' 'em too hard. I guess I just ain't mad at the little rascals like I used to be when I was younger. Besides, sitting in a tree stand o...
