Legal battle decides fate of record trophy

Bob Scammell Going. . . going. . . gone! That is where what many hunters say is North America's finest big game trophy could be headed as a result of a recent Alberta Court of Queen's Bench decision handed down in Edmonton on March 19. The Broder Buck, since 1960, when it was first scored and entere...

Cool! To bad they are so chewed up, or at least the one side. How old do you estimate them to be? Thanks for the pics though, he's a good one. Reminds the monster off the "Nuts about Bucks" video.

Where I hunt there isn't much open range at all. So I really don't have much choice in the matter. :) I'd like to try the open range some time though. It looks like a blast, for now though I'll enjoy the "rough stuff" if you will.

Mule Man,

Hey, thanks for joining the board. Good to have you around.
I believe mule deer see at a lower resolution than humans. Thus the reason they see better at night and are mainly a nocturnal animal.
Thus, yes they are believed to be color blind. This is my understanding any rate.

Umm,
Very intersting...I don't like the idea myself for obvious reasons. The poor herds are struggling tremendously and this definitely wont help the cause as already mentioned above.

BOHNTR - where do I get an email for voice my concern also?
