Re: Significant others success!
Thanks! We were both in the military(her Army, Me Marines) so we were taught "One Shot One Kill"! That's her gun too, I have to ask to borrow it even though I paid for it!DeadI wrote:with a single shot to boot. Nicely done.

Re: Barnes Triple Shock
A buddy of mine is a guide for european hogs down in South Carolina and this is a 300 grain bullet out of a 45-70 that was taken out of the opposite side of a 300lb hog. I can't say that the bullet could've performed any better than this. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h129/life2extreme/DSC00596-...

Re: Whitetails in Utah?
I live in Nebraska where the white's and the muleys co-exist in many places. Especially here in the western part. This is a buck that was taken in 2007 by an aquaintance that is the new typical state record. This buck was only taken about 4-5 miles(as the crow flies) from prime farm ground and white...

2007 Nebraska Buck Back!
I just went and picked up my 07 Muley Buck from the Taxi. Yes it took a long time, but the guy is really good and he also spent 3 months in Denver in the hospital with his newborn so I'll let that slide I guess! The guy is super nice and does a great job and his little one is doing great now. I was ...

The wife's first buck!
My wife took her first buck on opening morning here in Nebraska with her new 25-06I bought her a few weeks back. The shot was on a down hill angle about 40 degrees and 200 yards and the rest is history. I'm very proud of her! She out did me this year for sure, but that's because she had a good guide...
