One of our field guys was up there checking on a hut and saw him yesterday. We've had people report him in the area for a few weeks now. Very cool to see.

The reports I get are from people on the western slope and they are experiencing triple digit temps and dry conditions (103 in Grand Junction today). I shouldn't assume the whole state is like that. A Didn't get to start glassing until 7:30 a.m. but I should have seen more deer. I was able to get out for a bit also, every deer i saw was bedding down at 7am. even if the sun wasnt hitting them, they were entering the pines!! 9er That's how it has been around here, especially now that it's dried ...

Dumb question- Can a non-resident get a carry permit and if so, does anyone know which states do allow it an how do you go about getting the permit?
