I like the addition of primitive tags to the LE elk units......especially since I apply for muzzy.... more opportunity with lower success rates. As far as gen deer...who knows? It is all going to look different next year anyway, what happens this fall isn't a big deal. Good Luck all, and sorry buff ...

Andy here, Joined a year ago but haven't been back until today. I live in Utah County and love to hunt in my home state. Good for you! Cool gun. I have a model 100 and a model 88, both in .308. Both given to me by my wife's grandfather. I prefer the 88 and it is my primary big game rifle. They don't make them like these any more. Enjoy it, they are fun.

I see no problem with it. Look at states out west that have healthy whitetail populations; Colorado, Montana, Wyoming. Notice anything else they have in common? Awesome mule deer herds. They will fill in the geographical gaps where mule deer don't thrive, and although whitetail bucks will breed mule...

I have a Nomad and packed it around last year. I really like the size and the quality is great, especially for the price, I don't use the zoom much.
