Re: 2010 Big Game permit numbers...(Utah)

I like the addition of primitive tags to the LE elk units......especially since I apply for muzzy.... more opportunity with lower success rates. As far as gen deer...who knows? It is all going to look different next year anyway, what happens this fall isn't a big deal. Good Luck all, and sorry buff ...

Re: Winchester model 100

Good for you! Cool gun. I have a model 100 and a model 88, both in .308. Both given to me by my wife's grandfather. I prefer the 88 and it is my primary big game rifle. They don't make them like these any more. Enjoy it, they are fun.

Re: Whitetails in Utah?

I see no problem with it. Look at states out west that have healthy whitetail populations; Colorado, Montana, Wyoming. Notice anything else they have in common? Awesome mule deer herds. They will fill in the geographical gaps where mule deer don't thrive, and although whitetail bucks will breed mule...

Re: vertex spotting scopes

I have a Nomad and packed it around last year. I really like the size and the quality is great, especially for the price, I don't use the zoom much. Here are some pics taken through it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Andymansavage/bbq007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/Andymansava...
