Region general B. Not known for trophy deer but I've taken 2 deer there in three years. My first muley ever was a 150+ and last year I took a 170+. I set my goals realisticaly somewhere in that range. Even the year I didn't kill anything though, It still worth the 1700 miles just to experience that ...

Recieved my Deer tag for Wyoming this year on Saturday. This Georgia boy is headed back out for another DIY in eastern Wyoming. i figured it was due to population trends. However, I would think that bag limits would have more of an impact than time of year... Just my thought.

Can someone tell me...
Why they don't allow hunting during the rut in Wyoming, Region B specifically. I couldn't imagine hunting these whitetails in Georgia without the rut. The rancher where we hunt in Wyoming says that the first of November every year like clock work the "big" boys start showing up running does all over...
