Where are all the pictures this year?

The weather has kept me out of the woods here in Northern UT, but was wondering why all the "regulars" haven't posted this year?

I'm looking forward to seeing some new pics. I hope to get mt cams up next weekend.

Re: New hunter...NEED HELP!

I have hunted with this tag in the past. Best advice I can give is get away from the crowds. Start out before firsdt light and get a good vantage point. Hunt until dark. Since this is a rifle hunt I wouldn't be concerned over scents. As far as calls are concerned I would go with a cow call (there wi...

Re: New Trail Camera

Justin, I check my cameras every week but I'm a nut. First thing I do is set my cameras to multi shot mode. This allows you to capture multiple pictures of the same animal and sometimes you get multuple animals, especially if you have a delayed trigger speed. Also, if you only plan on checking your ...

Have you seen a decline in game activity on your tcam trail

Guys, just wondering if any of you have experienced a "decline" in game activity on your tcams, especially elk. Have both cams setup over water and the elk have all but disappeared. I figured with all the hot weather over the past several weeks it would have been better? Any thoughts? The only upsid...

Re: Bushnell trail cams

Do the bushnell cams come with the "standard" tripod mount on the bottom side? If so, I have come up with a great mount that works for all cameras with the threaded hole on the bottom. Take a standard tree step and weld a 1/4 x20 thread x inch and a half bolt to the end of it. add a nut and use it t...

Set your camera's to multi shot mode

If you don't have your camera's set to take multiple pictures you may be missing some animals. I would have never got a shot of the second bull without having the multi shot option.

Re: Bears,Bulls, Bucks......and cows

I appreciate all the input. I talked to the rancher and there are a total of 134 head in the canyon. There area is quite large so I think they will graze the area down they're in now and move on. With any luck they wildlife will not leave the area and return to their "normal" habits.
