Re: Repost - 150gr or 180gr for Muley/Elk in 300 Win Mag

I have shot quite a few different bullets through my .300 and have decided that 180gr are the most consistent bullet regardless of manufacturer. I like using one cartridge so I don't have to re-sight in the gun, especially during the hunting season. Heres a run down of the ones I like best: Barnes T...

Re: ATV advise

I recommend Honda. They are ultra realiable. If I had my pick I'd go with the Rubicon. We have three Foreman that are over ten years old and have over 6000 miles on them and they have never had any problems. The only knock on Honda is their ride is not as cush as something like a Polaris. My friend ...

Re: Spotting Scope for Tripod

I went with the Vanguard. I've had it in the field a few times and it has been great. It's pretty light and adjusts quickly. Thanks for everyones input.

Spotting Scope for Tripod

I bought a new Vortex Spotting scope and need a tripod. I have found there are alot of options and a wide price range. I wondering what everyone else is using. I'm leaning toward a Vanguard, but the Vortex look nice too.

Re: Nosler or Barnes?

Push... I have had awesome results with both to pick one over the other is hard. I can make a great case for both. I have shot and killed game with the partition, TSX and TTSX in .300 win and all flew great.
