I like the 300 RUM my daily shooter is a 7mm mag both are good for elk.

South Dakota is underrated and i love it we have huge whitetail and muledeer there was a lot of 200" whitetail and mulies shot this year.

I have used a 25.06 on goats for awhile and its a great one to my nephew use's a 243 on everything and he drops them in there tracks.

I had them out in my garage while working on the basement i thought the toilet added a bit-o-redneck to the pic waiting for 3 more muledeer and a whitetail yet.

Just applied for Elk and sheep in the blackhills if I dont draw i have enough preferance for deer and antelope here in SD to have 7 buck tags and 1 antelope so well see what happens !
