Personaly with bow or gun I like to get absolutely as close as possible.I have taken very few deer over 150 yards with a rifle. I like to glass and hunt midday when they are bedded and try to get as close as possible while they are bedded down. some of my best deer were taken between 11 am and 3 pm....

That is a nice looking deer. Someday I'll get out of south dakota and hunt muleys somewhere else. way to go and congrats on another great deer.

try this out and then rescore him.to me it looks like spread does count. plus we had an official scorer in cabelas the other day and he added in width for the guy in front of me.

agreed do it yourself. was downtown at the butcher shop the other day looking for some pork fat, and they were charging up to $250.00 for a european with a plaque.
